Ready to dive in to pre-Christmas promotions?
I know we’re all busy at this time of year, so I didn’t want to do any sort of big project.
Instead, I’ve come up with a fun way to help each other out.
Introducing the #PromoChain!
This is a simple way that we can help each other out by cross-promoting each other’s work on our social media!
Here’s how it’s going to work.
In our Facebook Group, I have created a post, which is pinned to the announcements, and will be there all throughout November.
To participate in the #PromoChain
1. Go to the #PromoChain post in the FB group.
2. Scroll to the last post in the comments. That person will have left a link to their venue of choice (Etsy shop, website, social media etc. – basically, somewhere that has their products, where they are easily shareable on social media).
3. Share/repost one of their products on your own social media (You can just include a comment like ‘check out the work of my friend/fellow #ThriverCircle member’s work’…. please do NOT use the #PromoChain hashtag, that’s just for use here in the group). You can do this on your IG feed, IG stories, FB Page feed, FB Page stories, Twitter, or Pin something of theirs on Pinterest.
4. When you have done that, come back to this FB thread, comment telling us where you shared their product, e.g. ‘Shared on IG Stories’! THEN, in the same comment, leave a link to your venue of choice, which the next commenter can use to share one of YOUR items.
5. You can take part as many times as you like! There are no limits. The only rule is that you MUST promote the person in the comment above yours before leaving a new comment on the chain. And it can’t be yourself, obviously ;P
That’s it!
I know we don’t do much promotion in this group – it’s not the vibe I’m generally going for – but I think this will be a fun way to get to know each other, our work, and help each other out this holiday season. I’ll be participating too!
