| What do you make? | I make pretty, practical and occasionally whimsical - gifts, accessories and personal items. Most items are sewn and include but are not limited to tea and coffee wallets, artist rolls, zippy purses, library bags, coffee cosies, pencil cases, book/diary/journal covers, hand crocheted rag rugs, cushions, bunting, fabric accessories featuring Japanese-style fabric flowers, baby quilts, iPad covers, cards and gift tags. Seasonal ranges. I am also a black line artist and produce original and print artworks. I am passionate about education, growth and healing though creative arts. I teach traditional and modern craft & sewing classes and workshops. These often take place in private homes, schools and shops. |

| More About Me | My background is in nursing and midwifery as well secondary school education. I have also worked in retreat centres and spirituality centres. I have done years of volunteer work in Australia and overseas, mostly working with young people and women in developing countries and refugees here in Australia. Just over 5 years ago, I began my own business called Cathie's Creations. This included making sewn items as an experienced quilter and sewer, selling at markets and fairs, as well as teaching sewing and creative arts, particularly in secondary schools. Twelve months ago, I joined with an equally passionate friend and we formed Seventh Stone Design and now focus on creating, selling in shops and teaching. |
