| More About Me | I started off as a dressmaker around 20 years ago. I made a variety of items from wedding dresses,costumes and puppets to curtains, debutante dresses wedding ring pillows and street wear! I had always loved baking so after having a small shop that was open by appointment only I decided to change careers and did a Patisserie apprenticeship(hence the 'cake' in my biz name!) After a few years my partner (of 24 years) fell ill and I had to become his full time carer. We eventually decided to start a family despite his illness and here I am 4 children later, starting a business all over again! I homeschool 3 boys aged 7-9 and we have a 3 year old daughter who keeps us quite busy too! |
