| More About Me | I am a newbie to starting a business. I have a number of pendants in "stock" and have been making them off and on for a few years to give to friends and family. I began my journey when I moved across the street from the ocean 5 years ago and began beachcombing. To try and make a long story short...and from personal experience... for some reason, "broken" shells became important to me, symbolizing the reality that anyone, at any time, could feel "broken". Yet, with the tides of time, brokenness has the ability to become something new, something beautiful. Each broken shell when combined with other broken shells or a piece or pieces of colorful sea glass can, too, be created into something beautiful! ALSO..each pendant has a pearl. WHY? Because the pearl is the ONLY gem created from pain and suffering. I began to "SEE life thru SEA life." I love creating the pendants and hope they can be an inspiration to others. I've had a blast looking for shells and sea glass with my grandchildren which has involved hours of fun and at times contests to find the tiniest shells or sea glass! Lastly...next year I will be 70 years old and I want to give this a chance....you never know unless you try....I just hope I don't run out of time for the next stage of my journey! LOL! |
