| What do you make? | Handmade by Bex makes high quality, hand sewn and embroidered keepsakes, working closely with the customer to create items that will be treasured for years to come. The business is very much shaped by the customer, my items are almost entirely commissioned, the most popular products are bespoke box frames to celebrate special occasions, embroidery hoops with hand embroidered quotations, embroidered hanging decorations and delicate brooches. The majority of my work is made in felt and calico, almost entirely hand sewn with hand embroidered detail. |

| More About Me | I live in a lovely village in the Kent countryside with my family- my husband, our son and daughter and our mad Springer Spaniel, Guinness. I took up sewing after a contract ended in my previous job. I was pregnant with my second child and, not being one to sit still for long, started making items for family and friends. Gradually it started to turn into a business and I have now reached a wonderful point where I am able to work from home, have the flexibility that is needed with a young family and contribute financially to our family life. |
