More About Me | I have been a maker of arts and crafts as far back as I remember. I sold my goods part time, as well as taking custom orders, before leaving my full time job in Hospitality in August 2013 to pursue my passion for making as well as have a more flexible schedule to allow me to soak up more quality time with my family. |
My areas of expertise that apply to handmade business: | I began crafting jewelry at summer camp as a child. This evolved into a love of minerals and metals and a life long passion of collecting unique materials to create jewelry in a variety of different styles and forms. I work regularly in hand sewn embroidery and cross stitch as well as machine stitching functional goods for family and home. I use techniques like drilling, sanding, painting and varnishes as well as decoupage to upcycle goods. The less going in our landfills the better.I love giving old objects new life. |
