| More About Me | I am a bit of a fabric nerd, who has always loved pattern and design. I studied photography and printmaking and currently teach these subjects to secondary students. I am passionate about expanding my students artistic directions, but felt the need around 2 years ago to begin printing again. I started by experimental works on recycled papers and that led to having a pop-up market with some friends at our house. Mainly due to the fact I couldn't stop printing and we didn't have any more room!! I expanded to do some local markets and began to think about hand printing onto good quality fabrics. I had previously done screen printing years before, but due to space and material restrictions I chose to use the block printing method instead. Mix in a new found interest for dyeing and I began to head in the direction of where I am currently working. |
