| What do you make? | Handmade and designed knitted hats, in natural fibres, often hand dyed. I use a combination of new luxury yarn and upcycled yarn from pre-loved quality knitted clothing. I also make knitted fingerless mittens and socks. In addition to the handknitted goodies I also design and make fabric handbags, knitting project bags, purses, wallets and totes. | More About Me | I am fairly new to the small buisness world. I've only had my Etsyshop open for a couple of months. I'm trying to build my business into something that will both fill my days with fun and provide a reasonable income. I LOVE designing and making things, and I think I'm pretty good at it. So far it's just been an obsession and a hobby, but I really want it to be more. I love the idea that I could be successful at it and do something full-time that I don't want to take a holiday from. I've had a professional career as a senior editor and communications specialist, working in education, government, and corporate settings and while I enjoy that life, I'd rather be making things. |
