| More About Me | "Why did she make things? well, she enjoyed it, of course; but it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from." - words by Amy from Pinwheeldesigns on etsy(of course)! These words just so resonate within me. This is who I am. Together with my architectural background along with my passion for paper, painting and designing, I work away on new designs daily. I love colours that live in harmony, beautiful proportions and where possible a sense of movement. My challenge is to create elegant affordable stationery with this in mind. I recently ventured into the world of gift tags, cotton twine, french paper doilies, lined envelopes & cute patterned stickers to add to my line of stationery. I work in a smoke free environment on all elements from designing, printing, cutting, packaging, photographing as well as making endless cups of tea for motivation and sustenance! On nice sunny days my faithful dog Saffy, escorts me to the post office to deliver your packages! The rest of my day is taken up being a wife, mum, friend and more . . . Just so you know, the beautiful card stock that I use is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved i.e. paper from responsible sources. It is acid free ensuring archival life and is manufactured using Elemental Chlorine free (ECF) pulps.
